“Hamster Kombat” Drives 200 Million Users Crazy on Telegram
The popular game “Hamster Kombat” on the messaging app Telegram has gained immense popularity among users, even becoming the third fastest application to reach 150 million users in history (following Pokémon GO and Threads). Hamster Kombat recently posted on X, announcing that the game has already attracted 200 million users within three months.
Similar to the well-known “Notcoin,” this hamster-themed game revolves around a click-to-earn coin mechanism. In Hamster Kombat, players take on the role of a hamster CEO managing their own exchange. Apart from earning game points by clicking on the hamsters on the screen, players can also obtain additional rewards through daily missions and unlocking skills. These earnings will ultimately serve as a reference for the future coin airdrops on the TON blockchain by Hamster Kombat, making it a strategy game that allows players to earn while playing.
The game offers a variety of gameplay options, and players need to use their points to purchase various upgrade cards, including acquiring new trading licenses. As they expand their businesses and increase their income, players can further develop the exchanges they manage. As players progress, their hamster CEO characters gain upgraded abilities, such as earning more passive points.
Sébastien Borget, co-founder of The Sandbox, a metaverse platform, stated in an interview with the media outlet Cointelegraph that games like Hamster Kombat, rapidly growing on the Telegram platform, showcase the incredible speed of innovation and how these games are revolutionizing the way players earn profits. It also demonstrates how Web3 can drive industry expansion to an astonishing scale in a short period.

Hamster Kombat’s YouTube channel breaks subscription growth records
According to Cointelegraph, Hamster Kombat’s game mechanics are closely linked to the content of its official YouTube channel and social media platforms. For example, subscribing to the channel or watching specific videos earns players points. This strategy has allowed Hamster Kombat’s YouTube channel to gain over 10 million subscribers in just one week.
This record surpasses that of YouTuber “Mr Beast,” who has 293 million subscribers and once gained 20 million followers in a month. Hamster Kombat has applied to be recognized by the Guinness World Records as the first channel to attract over 10 million subscribers in a week.
A YouTube expert pointed out that Hamster Kombat’s YouTube channel earns $11 in advertising revenue for every 1,000 views. From May 24 to June 26, the channel has accumulated over 473 million views, generating a total of $5.2 million in advertising revenue. The videos on the channel mainly cover cryptocurrency information, news, and are presented by a small hamster, specifically targeting Web3 beginners.
This approach not only allows players to earn more points but also helps new users understand basic Web3 information and industry events. Borget believes that this will further promote the development of the entire Web3 ecosystem.
Another “earn-while-you-play” game, “Notcoin,” recently conducted a profitable token airdrop, attracting even more players to immerse themselves in Hamster Kombat. Although the token airdrop date for Hamster Kombat has not been announced yet, players can already start connecting their wallets within the game.
